Second Gold Award for Learning Pool by Investors in People

Learning Pool has been awarded the Gold Investors in People (IIP) Standard, recognising its commitment to investing in and realising the potential of its people, for the second consecutive time.

IIP is a globally recognised standard for people management and transformational leadership. Gold Accreditation confirms Learning Pool as among the top-ranking organisations for its unique culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Learning Pool’s Director of People and Performance, Louise McElvaney, attributes the company’s IIP Gold Standard award to its high performing team and commitment to customers:

“Our people are the driving force behind our business and a key reason for our sustained growth and success. Gold accreditation is a wonderful endorsement of the work of our team in what’s been an incredible year for Learning Pool. We’re delighted that the investments we’ve made in the personal development of our people have created high levels of job satisfaction and that Learning Pool continues to be a great place to work. We have ambitious plans for further growth and expansion and we’re confident that by putting our people at the centre of everything we do, we can maintain excellent levels of customer service and guarantee the learning value, reliability and relevance of the solutions we provide.”

IIP accreditation offers measurable feedback on employee performance and the chance to benchmark against other organisations in the UK and internationally. The assessment framework encapsulates the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures, focusing on three key areas: leading, supporting and improving.

To achieve Gold accreditation the company underwent a rigorous, independent review of its organisation and people to ensure it met key performance indicators. These indicators are derived from the analysis of organisations that consistently outperform industry norms.

IIP accreditation is assessed every three years. The latest award follows on from the 2016 Gold and means Learning Pool is certified until 2022. The company is particularly commended for developing strong leaders, equipping managers to provide the best support to their teams and unlocking potential right across the business.

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said:

“We’d like to congratulate Learning Pool. Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, and an organisation committed to achieving success by realizing the potential of their people. Learning Pool should be extremely proud of their achievement.”

Achieving the Gold Investors in People accreditation is an outstanding achievement for the company. It requires genuine commitment from leaders, highly motivated and passionate employees, and for everyone to be focused on the ambitions of the organisation.
