Protect Line looks after compliance and skills development with a new online learning solution

We’re pleased to announce that Protect Line, one of the UK’s fastest-growing life insurance brokers, has invested in a new online learning platform with Learning Pool, to support recent and future high levels of company expansion.

Protect Line was founded in 2010 by husband and wife David & Jo Brewer in Poole, Dorset. The hard-working couple, experienced in the financial world and with a young family of their own, wanted to create a simpler, more personalised way to protect the most important things in life. Now with more than 200 employees across multiple offices, the management team realised that ensuring regulatory compliance and developing essential workplace skills needed greater control, consistency and flexibility.

In meeting these challenges, Protect Line have chosen Learning Pool’s SaaS-based Learning Management System which will increase efficiency through role-based allocation of courses and centralised compliance reporting for managers and auditors. In addition, the group has selected the pre-built Foundation Skills e-learning Catalogue and a small number of courses from Learning Pool’s library to provide a wide range of easily-adaptable workplace learning for their growing employee base.”At Protect Line, we are passionate about the development of our people. Implementation of a new LMS demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing learning that is flexible, adaptable and accessible to all.” says Michelle Vaughton, Head of Learning and Development at Protect Line. “As the business has grown, there is an increased focus on delivering learning that meets the needs of a diverse workforce. The ability to create bite-sized, blended solutions that enable us to respond rapidly to learning needs, is critical to our success moving forward. Learning Pool has been able to provide us with a single-source solution to our online workplace learning requirements.”“We’re really pleased to welcome Protect Line, our newest customer,” says Learning Pool’s CEO, Paul McElvaney. “Yet again, being able to provide both a functional and scalable LMS along with pre-built, device-adaptive learning content means that Learning Pool can provide a straightforward, unique and cost-effective solution to their needs. We look forward to serving Protect Line long into the future.”
