This elearning module is for health and social care staff who work with people who have a learning disability. It will give you information about the core skills you need to carry out your role effectively. The course is mapped to the Skills for Health, Health Education England and Skills for Care framework.

On completion, learners will understand the key legislation and how it protects people with learning disabilities, gain insight into the challenges faced by people who live with a learning disability. Also, they will understand their role in safeguarding these individuals.
