STOMP elearning module
Do you support people with learning disabilities and/or autism? Are you concerned about the amount of medication they are being given? Are you concerned about the long-term effects of these drugs?
STOMP stands for ‘Stop Over Medication of People’ with learning disabilities, autism or both. In this elearning module, you’ll look at what the STOMP campaign is trying to achieve, why people have been over medicated, how people should be supported and what to do if you think someone is being over medicated. Your learners will appreciate the reasons why over medication can happen and the issues associated with this.
