Trans Awareness – Adult and Child elearning module
This module provides a general overview of trans awareness. It explains what trans awareness is and why it matters to all of us, as well as describing the definitions of gender and sexuality and how they are on a continuum. It also looks at some of the common stereotypes and ignorance around trans issues, the reality of being trans at key stages in a trans person’s life and the range of treatment and types of medical processes relevant to these people. Your learners will understand some of the terms surrounding trans awareness and explore the bigotry and discrimination that is aimed at trans people.
