Create like a designer

Part 3 of the Better design for better learning webinar series

As anyone with the responsibility for developing and delivering e-learning content across an organisation will know, making content visually engaging can sometimes be a challenge.

This webinar gives a unique opportunity to get an insight into the workflow of professional graphic designers, as they respond to challenges submitted by participants in the Better design for better learning webinar series.

Join Georgia Murray and Ronnie Wilson-Miller to get inspiration and practical professional tips on how to use graphics well to create responsive e-learning content.

In this webinar Georgia and Ronnie respond to a design challenge shared with them by registrants for the webinars in this series. They share their preparation, process and tools used to come up with solutions to the selected challenges.

During this hour-long session you’ll get insight into:

how designers respond to the sometimes vague nature of instructions from content creators to clarify the task at hand;

how to use graphics to help learners focus on the task at hand and reinforce other content;

how different designers might respond to a learning brief – and how to interpret what they create;

how best to instruct designers to ensure that their designs match what you’re looking for.

Better design for better learning is a three-part webinar series featuring Learning Pool’s graphic design team, who provide the inspiration, design skills and creativity seen across Learning Pool’s e-learning catalogues, custom e-learning content and LMS themes.

In this series of webinars, you’ll get an opportunity to see how they work, ask questions about their process and get a chance to have their skills and experience applied to your e-learning challenges.

Whatever your level of experience or confidence, each webinar will give you tools, tips and techniques to take back to your workplace and incorporate into your workflow.
