Empowering Corporate Culture Through Inclusion

Hybrid meet-up and discussion

18 August 2022 – 4:30-5:30 PM (ET)

Last year, our VP, Strategic Alliances, Sharon Claffey Kaliouby, launched a series of hybrid events. We invited L&D professionals from across the globe to share their experiences of working during a pandemic, as well as the hottest trends and topics from across the industry. These sessions were informal and therefore raw, real and unrecorded.

We’re thrilled to be bringing these back again this summer! Kicking us off for 2022, this hybrid event will celebrate women in learning, the value of 30 under 30 cohorts, the importance of empowering women leaders, and the growing need to value and support the ‘seasoned’ (over 30) employee. We’ll also discuss conscious and unconscious bias and how to help create a more inclusive culture in organizations.

About the session

Data proves companies with greater diversity outperform their more homogeneous counterparts. It’s important for leaders to set the tone regarding DE&I (EDI) and to provide L&D programs fostering inclusion and encouraging more diversity in the workplace.

In this hybrid event, we will hear from representatives to discuss the value of:

  • Bringing your authentic self to work
  • Spotlighting the next generation of learning leadership in our field; i.e. the 30 under 30
  • Appreciating the OVER 30 workforce – should there be a ’30 over 30′ group
  • Empowering women in learning
  • Supporting managers to deliver DE&I results
  • Inclusion across all areas of business

For those in Boston, please join us in person as you first did a year ago, whilst we held learning conversations on a rooftop bar. If you can’t make it in person, we still welcome your insights and perspectives virtually. All we ask is you bring a drink of your choice, wit and humor!

You will walk away with access to the award-winning “Uncomfortable Truth in Racial Equality” modules and the recent Raconteur publication – Empowering corporate culture change through diversity, equity and inclusion.

Research shows the positive bottom line impact of gender balance and breadth of life experiences. Still, most organizations pay nothing more than lip service to DE&I. In time, though, they will be surpassed by smarter organizations that recruit and promote a broader range of employees. Let’s accelerate those companies’ success.”
