Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) Identified As Best Value Next Generation Learning System in the Fosway 9-Grid™
January 25, 2018
Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ ecosystem, featuring a range of products designed to make learning more personal, more social and more measurable, has once again been recognised as a Potential Challenger to the status-quo of the Learning Systems Industry on the latest Fosway Learning Systems 9-Grid™.
An independent analysis of the Learning Systems market, the popular 9-Grid™ model showcases the market leaders and challengers to the HR industry across a range of service offerings.
Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) have ascended since last year’s ranking, now occupying the position at the very top of the ‘Potential Challenger’’ category – a place formerly held by Degreed, who now occupy Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ previous space on the grid.

‘Next Generation Learning Environments’ are marked out from more traditional Learning Management System offerings by their Software-as-a-Service approach (SaaS), mixed with new approaches to learning and data-led, performance-orientated systems that have a fundamentally different value proposition to traditional, course-orientated learning systems.
Notably, sitting in the top right of the ‘Potential Challenger’ category means Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) have ranked higher on the grid in terms of ‘potential’ than other providers listed in the same cost/type categories.
On receiving the news of Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ second consecutive inclusion, CEO, Ben Betts, commented:
“Our high potential position on the Fosway Learning Systems 9-Grid™ is well justified, given our award-winning R&D nature. Over the last 12 months we’ve made significant investments in developing our next-generation software into the leading set of tools on the marketplace.
We see Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) as a wonderful partner for businesses that are looking to push the boat out and do something innovative for the first time. We’ve worked with a range of forward-thinking companies in the last 12 months to great effect, picking up six awards at the recent Learning Technologies awards to recognise our efforts.
We call this approach #LearningFirsts – being brave enough to do something for the first time in your organisation – like deploying a Learning Record Store, or using a OLX.
Our high-potential ranking on the Fosway Learning Systems 9-Grid™, coupled with our excellent value for money licensing, means that any organisation can achieve a #LearningFirst when working with Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)”.
When asked about HT2’s success in this year’s edition of the report, Fosway Group CEO David Wilson commented:
“Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) have continued the innovation that saw them enter the Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems as a Next Gen Learning Environment last year. Their increasing success and growing adoption in corporate organisations is reflected in a strengthened trajectory rating in 2018″
