Silver at Brandon Hall Excellence In Technology Awards

Learning Pool’s innovative social learning platform was announced as a silver award winner of a coveted Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Award in the category of Best Advance in Social Learning Technology, on Thursday December 4, 2015.

Innovation that delivers measurable results

Learning Pool Platform is used by companies all over the world to create effective and engaging online learning courses that are easy to create, simple to integrate and deliver tangible benefits back to the organisation.

Slick, responsive design, xAPI compliant, and completely scalable – the platform gives L&D teams the tools to design, deliver and facilitate Social Learning experiences whilst making the best of the content and systems they already own.

In judging the awards, a panel of independent senior industry experts and Brandon Hall senior analysts considered a range of criteria including uniqueness and a strong value proposition, with Brandon Hall Group Chief Executive Office Mike Cooke stating:

These award-winning solutions were closely evaluated by our judges for not only their innovation, but the real results they brought to the organizationsThat is what makes our technology awards program special – connecting creativity and innovation to direct business results.”

Sustained success and recognition

Learning Pool and clients are celebrating success in a number of social learning award categories in recent months, with a BP project co-created with LAS having been awarded the Bronze Award for Best Social & Collaborative Learning at the E-Learning Awards, held in November.

The platform– along with clients Villeroy & Boch – has also been shortlisted in the Social & Collaborative Learning category of the LPI’s Learning Awards, with the winners to be announced in London on February 4, 2016 at The Dorchester.

Learning Pool’s CPO, Dr Ben Betts, is delighted with the recent accolades received from across the industry and of the growing number of organisations turning to social learning and gamification to get their learner’s excited about learning, stating:

At Learning Pool, we believe that all learning is social and that by creating more social experiences, organisations benefit from the insights and experience of everyone working there – it’s great to see that more and more organisations are tuning into this potential.  We’ve always known that our platform and learning record store are capable of delivering real change for organisations; and we’re delighted about the recent acknowledgement that they’re receiving from the industry.

Betts, a leading expert in social learning, has a new book – Ready, Set, Curate! – out later this month and will be sharing his insights on digital curation in a free seminar at the Learning Technologies Exhibition in London, February 2016.
