Skills are key to achieving peak performance across your organization. We’ll also look at how, by putting an organisation’s people at the heart of everything we do, we can not only increase internal skills and capability but also improve staff retention via clear skills pathways, equity and internal mobility.
Accelerate Your Skills Framework: Reducing Barriers Using AI
Colin Welch | 3 May at 2.00pm – 2.15pm | BLZ 2
Utilising skills to achieve peak performance is an aspiration for many organisations, but it isn’t easy to know where to start. How do we create a skills framework from scratch? How do we find current and future skills deficits in our organisation? How do we remedy those deficits, and at what cost? Our Director of Solutions Engineering, Colin Welch, will show you how the unique Skills Builder solution from Learning Pool can get you up and running with skills quickly and with minimum effort by taking advantage of intelligent data, artificial intelligence and a unique skills ontology to remove all of the typical barriers that prevent us from using skills data to drive career development, organisational agility and equal opportunities.
How to use intelligent data to design truly strategic learning experiences
Dr Page Chen & Stefan Eger | 4 May at 11.45 am – 12.15pm | Theatre 11
The value of intelligent data is its ability to help organizations make informed decisions about how to best support their employees’ development and career growth. Using Strategic Learning Experience Design (SLED), intelligent data can be leveraged to create more effective, engaging, and personalized training experiences that help employees reach their desired potential and drive measurable business success. In this session, we will cover the 5 key elements of SLED used by Learning Pool to design and deliver truly strategic learning experiences. We will share real world examples of how, with our help, global organisations are breaking from the confines of the SCORM course and SLEDing into utilising Intelligent data to design truly effective corporate training programs.
One Size Fits One – Use Intelligent Data to Personalise Learning Experiences
Dave Newbold | 4 May at 1.10 am – 1.25pm | BLZ 3
Integrated with an organisation’s wider ecosystem, modern learning and skills platforms can now provide L&D with an unprecedented amount of intelligent data about learners. We can go well beyond hindsight learning completion data and gather data on skills, risk, engagement, sentiment, confidence levels, social contributions and an almost limitless range of other data points within the content itself.
Yet many learning experiences deployed today are still one-size-fits-all programmes that offer little or no personalisation to the learner. Our Lead Solutions Engineer Dave Newbold will demonstrate how the Learning Pool platform uses intelligent data to deliver one-size-fits-one learning experiences enabling L&D teams to tailor and automate personalised learning pathways, communications, content, learning recommendations and skills development, and to measure business impact.
