Mandatory Report
What it is
A new report that displays all mandatory enrolments without ever having to leave the LXP. You will be able to view and export compliance and completion statuses for your organisation making it easier than ever to maintain 100% compliance.
Why we have done this
Compliance is vital to any organisation for many reasons, including reducing risk, increasing performance and productivity, and enhancing customer trust. At the moment however, we know that it can be as time-consuming as it is important.
This report makes it incredibly easy to keep an eye on employees’ compliance status whether they are fully compliant, not compliant or even who is at risk of non-compliance. Having this information so accessible enables you to quickly implement steps to ensure everyone is on the right track.
How it works
- This report can be found in the ‘Reports’ area of the LXP. It will display Learning Experiences that have been set as ‘Mandatory’ and can be accessed by following the below steps:
-
- Navigate to the ‘Admin’ area
- Click on the ‘Settings’ tab
- Expand ‘Reports’
- Click ‘Mandatory’
- The report will display the following columns, which can be sorted A-Z and vice versa by clicking on the column titles:
- Org Ref – this shows the organisation the learner belongs to. A learner can be assigned to an organisation via their profile page.
- Email – learner’s email address.
- Last name – learner’s last name, taken from their profile. Clicking on the name will take you to the learner’s profile information.
- First name – learner’s first name, taken from their profile. Clicking on this will take you to the learner’s profile information.
- Learning Experience – learning experience title.

- Enrolment date – date the user was enrolled.
- Due date – calculated based on the number of days after enrolment as set in the ‘Due after’ field in the learning experience.
- Completed date – date the learner completed the learning experience.
- Valid until – this is calculated based on which ‘Expiry method’ has been used:
- ‘Use Fixed date’ – based on the ‘Expiry date’ set.
- ‘Use Attempt Completion date’ – based on the completed date for the attempt and the ‘Validity period’ set.
- Completion status, can display the following statuses:
- Complete – the learning experience is complete and the ‘Valid Until’ date is in the future or there is no ‘Valid Until’ date.
- Not complete – the learning experience has not yet been completed.
- Overdue – the learning experience is not complete and the ‘Due date’ is in the past.
- Expired – the ‘Valid until’ date for the completed attempt is in the past.
- Due to expire – the learning experience is completed but the ‘Valid Until’ date is in the next 30 days.
- Compliance status:
- Complaint – In-date completion i.e. not expired
- Not Compliant – Not completed or expired
- The following filters allow you to fine-tune the results on the report to get the exact information you need quickly:
- Courses – dropdown displays a list of available learning experiences in alphabetical order. On selecting a learning experience the report will be filtered to match the selection.
- Groups – dropdown displays a list of available groups. On selecting a group, the report will be filtered to match the selection. .
- The filters can be used together to further refine results. You can select a learning experience and further refine the results by selecting a group. The report will display records of the learning experience for users who are members of the selected group.
- A search bar is available on the report to filter by other criteria. The search bar can be used to search for:
- Learning Experience
- Alias
- Last Name
- First Name
- Email
- The search bar will work with both the Courses and Groups filters. For example, both filters can be applied and the search can be used to further refine the content.
- The report can be exported to CSV format.
- Any applied filters will work with the export option. For example, if a learning experience and/or group has been selected and then the report is exported, the file will only include the refined records.
