The Care Act 2014: Part 1 & Part 2 - Social Care E-Learning Module

The Care Act is considered to be one of the most important pieces of social care legislation in England since the 1948 National Assistance Act and 1990 NHS and Community Care Act. The Act and the regulations and guidance put a lot of emphasis on personalisation, a whole-family approach, and prevention. A multiple-choice knowledge check is included. Part 1 introduces The Care Act 2014, as well as examining the financial changes and safeguarding elements. Part 2 covers the assessment and support planning elements of The Care Act 2014.
