Learning Pool is thrilled for its Australia-based partner, Superb Learning who achieved a quintuple award win at the 2020 LearnX Live Awards.
Superb Learning is a digital learning agency dedicated to helping authors and thought leaders transform their knowledge into a powerful digital learning experience to become an “edupreneur” – an educational entrepreneur.
The Brisbane-based company is led by founder and Chief Learning Architect, Matthew Mason. Matthew is a digital learning expert, Certified Learning Professional (CLP) and Certified Online Learning Facilitator (COLF) with over 20 years of experience. During his time in L&D, Matthew has designed and developed hundreds of hours of learning content across multiple industries and sectors with a focus on the use of technology to provide a quality learning experience. He is a multi-award-winning learning designer, including being named ‘Best L&D Professional’ in the Australian Learning Impact Awards 2014.
Superb Learning and Stream LXP
Superb Learning became a partner of HT2 Labs in 2015 and continued the relationship with Learning Pool following its acquisition of HT2 Labs in June 2019. Superb Learning is a partner re-seller of Stream LXP, Learning Pool’s award-winning Learning Experience Platform, (previously Curatr) in Australia.
Currently, the company has six clients using Stream LXP to deliver a range of educational programs, including professional development training for L&D professionals, educating other organizations and individuals on company systems, health care training for individuals and internal staff training including induction, communication skills, sales and marketing.
The company’s clients come from a range of sectors, for example, learning and development and healthcare, and include The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH), the Australian Institute of Training and Development and Impact Learning.
LearnX Live Awards 2020
The LearnX Live Awards are held annually to celebrate innovation in workplace learning, attracting entries from Australia’s leading learning and training companies. Each year, the awards uncover incredible projects and solutions that deliver best practice and business value, shining a light on the talented teams involved in these works, and the enterprises that support them.
The awards are run by the LearnX Foundation, an independent, non-profit event management and design agency that operates to amplify the impact of talent development and supporting technologies through live summits and international awards programs.
In partnership with The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH), Superb Learning was shortlisted in 5 categories at the LearnX Live Awards 2020.
Using Stream LXP, Superb Learning helped IUIH transform its face-to-face training for new starters into a more cost and time-effective online solution. The result was the System of Care program which communicates the organization’s history and its fundamental values, as well as offering guidance on how practitioners and employees work together, providing a cultural integrity framework.
This week, it was announced that Superb Learning had taken home –
- Best Diversity/Inclusion Strategy – Platinum award
- Best Induction/Onboarding Project – Gold
- Best Learning & Development Project – Gold
- Best New E-learning Adopter Initiative – Gold
- Best Social Learning Project – Silver
The company is also working with IUIH to further the elearning by developing courses related to mental health, lifestyle and fitness for its clients and others.
