A Year of Success 2023

January

We received the Silver award for ‘Learning Provider of the Year’ at The Learning Awards 2023. We also scooped Gold for ‘External Learning Solution of the Year’ in partnership with Lidl GB.

March

We celebrated four years of ‘Customer Service Success’ at the Stevie® Awards for Sales and Customer Service with the Silver award. We also became a certified B Corporation, joining global businesses committed to making a positive impact on the world.

May

3,000 hours of support were donated to the local communities of Learning Pool’s colleagues during our inaugural Learning Poolooza.

July

Great Places to Work® named us as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women.

September

Having maintained our status as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed Companies’ for almost a decade, we also received the Platinum award for the third time.

November

Learning Pool’s Joanna Ly and Lisa McGeady scooped the Gold awards for ‘Learning Developer of the Year’ and ‘Learning Designer of the Year’ respectively at the Learning Technologies Awards.

We advanced to ‘Core Leader’ on the Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems. We were also named as one of the UK’s ‘Best Workplaces for Wellbeing’ by Great Places to Work.

April

For the third year, we maintained our position as a ‘Strategic Leader’ on the Fosway 9-Grid™ Digital Learning.

June

Training Industry named us as one of the ‘Top 20 Custom Content Development Companies’ for 2023.

August

We celebrated the launch of two new office spaces for Learning Pool colleagues – one in Bicester, UK and one in Kansas City, USA. We also impressed in three categories at the Brandon Hall Excellence in Human Capital Management Awards, receiving two Gold and one Silver award.

October

Developed in partnership with Mind Tools, we launched AI Conservations, a generative AI tool that allows employees to practice challenging workplace conversations. We were also recognized as one of Training Industry’s ‘Top 20 Learning Management Systems Companies’.

December

We ended the year on a high with another triple award win at the Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology Awards. This included two Silver awards for AI Conversations.
