Addison Lee provide increased support for staff
October 9, 2018
Leading e-learning company, Learning Pool, is pleased to announce that Addison Lee has committed to upgrading their learning solution as part of a two-year service extension.
Founded in 1975, Addison Lee has grown to become one of the UK’s largest premium transport businesses, expanding internationally to deliver over 10 million journeys each year in more than 350 cities around the world.
A culture of Learning and development innovation at Addison Lee is already well-embedded. All UK, USA and Hong-Kong staff, including senior leadership and the company’s management team, now have access to a range of device-adaptive personal and professional development courses through the Learning Management System (LMS), and Learning Content Catalogues rolled out in partnership with Learning Pool in 2017.
Having laid that strong foundation, the L&D team are extending the remit of the LMS to cover Appraisal Management and 360° feedbacks; enabling learners to identify opportunities for ongoing development and improve their performance even further. Also, there are plans to develop blended and e-learning best practice across the globe with the Addison Lee’s Tristar executive chauffeurs.
“Addison Lee is passionate about developing our people. By continuing to offer the best customer service available, we plan to double the business by 2021: creating exceptional experiences for our passengers. Developing the skills and competence of our global workforce is the key enabler to making that happen successfully. We’ve renewed and extended our investment with Learning Pool based on the high quality of our partnership to date; we always trust them to have our best interests at heart in the service they provide and how they innovate for our learners’ benefit.”
Corporate Learning & Development Manager, Stella Heskey
“We’re so pleased to be able to continue helping Stella, and the Addison Lee team do the right thing for their colleagues. Like Addison Lee, we’re building a great team to help continue our strong business growth over the coming years, and our shared interests mean that we’re looking forward to working with their teams around the world for many years to come.”
