Call for Local Charities as Learning Pool Pledges 3500 hours of Voluntary Support in a Single Day

We are delighted to announce our most ambitious community support initiative yet, planning for our entire workforce to volunteer in the community.
On Thursday 18th May 2023, business as usual will be paused, as Learning Pool’s entire team will go into the community to support charitable and environmental activities, in an effort we’re calling ‘Learning Pooloza’. Not-for-profit groups, social enterprises and educational organizations are now invited to register interest in taking part.
This focused business action means that we will contribute more than 3,500 volunteer hours in a single day, aiming for an extraordinary impact in the communities where our 450+ people live and work.
The company has teams of specialists who can support specific challenges many charities face in important areas like technology, human resources, marketing, branding and, of course, learning and development.
Speaking about the initiative, CEO Ben Betts said, “Making a difference in our communities has always been part of our culture. We’re transforming how we support not-for-profit organizations as we aim to become a long-term strategic partner for the charities we support. Our CSR day in May is the first step in this. We know the most valuable asset we can invest is time and hope that our commitment here can help charitable organizations deliver extraordinary outcomes on Learning Poolooza and beyond”.
