Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) Retains ISO9001 Certified Status Following Annual Review
May 5, 2016
Award-winning learning technology R&D Company, Learning Pool has achieved the internationally recognised ISO9001 Certification for the second year running – following an independent assessment conducted by the British Assessment Bureau on April 11, 2016.
ISO9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organisations to demonstrate that they do what they say they do and that they have a quality management system in place to ensure consistency and improvement; leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained.
Achieving ISO9001 status demonstrates Learning Pool’s commitment to customer service and quality in delivery, which translates into lower costs for customers too. The company also holds ISO27001 status, demonstrating a commitment to data security and management best practices for which Learning Pool are assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained with respect to effective information management systems.
Alan Betts, Learning Pool’s Principle Consultant and officer in charge of ISO processes said:
“We are delighted to have achieved ISO9001 certification again this year as it underlines our continued commitment to our customers and our focus on quality, and especially at a time when we have a number of remote workers. Not many customers get to see their suppliers’ ‘back-office’ activities and this recognition demonstrates we can provide a quality solution from quotation to delivery.”
Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) are currently working on a number of key client learning initiatives this year – including the Jisc Open Learning Analytics Framework and VITAL+ project.
