Zest Implement Learning Pool’s LMS Ahead of Planned Organizational Growth Phase
December 16, 2019
Learning Pool is thrilled to announce that Zest, the UK insurer of household appliances and provider of appliance repairs and aftercare protection across the UK have invested in a new online learning platform to support their plan for company expansion.
Bournemouth-based Zest is a leading UK insurer of household appliances and is a trading name of the Home Appliance Guard Ltd, a provider of appliance repairs and aftercare protection across the UK.
Across all Zest offices there is a collective staff count of 75 employees; a figure they are aiming to increase to around the 200 mark over the next few years. In pursuit of this goal, Zest has opted to implement Learning Pool’s SaaS-based Learning Management System (LMS) which will help them to achieve their initial goals of effectively onboarding new employees, as well as improve the customer service and compliance processes within their organization.
Adding to their LMS offering, the group has also selected a custom catalogue of modules taken from various catalogues in Learning Pool’s off-the-shelf content range. These include modules from the Foundation Skills, Leadership, and Contact Centre catalogues.
Phil Baker, Sales Recruitment Officer at Zest commented:
Improving our training and development offered at Zest is one of our goals to help with our future growth. Producing bespoke and quality elearning on a new system ready for a companywide launch seemed daunting at first – however, the support offered by the team at Learning Pool has been invaluable. Initial feedback from our staff has been great, and with our launch less than a week away we are excited to see everything in action. I believe we are still only scratching the surface, and there is a lot more to come in the future.
Access to our catalogues ensures Zest is able to provide a wide range of easily adaptable workplace learning for their growing employee base.
In choosing Learning Pool and the Essential Plus LMS, Zest has selected a partner that can help them meet their short, medium and long term goals. From pre-employment to post-recruitment, access to Learning Pool’s LMS and custom content solutions will ensure a more seamless process to their onboarding and induction process for new starters.
Speaking of their procurement of Learning Pool’s services, Tim Hanslip, Founder of Zest said:
With so many great learning systems to choose from, we decided that the relationship and support offered by our chosen partner were key to the projects success. The “off the shelf” courses offered us a great way to get going with some quality, relevant content to complement the e-learning induction modules that we have developed in house with Adapt. Zest is now looking forward to working closing with Learning Pool in maximizing the potential of our new system over the next few months and years.
CEO, Paul McElvaney commented:
We’re delighted to welcome Zest to our customer base and thrilled that they have chosen Learning Pool’s LMS and Adapt Builder to help them achieve their goal of providing a learning environment that is both engaging and practical whilst keeping their Total Cost of Ownership lower than those of our competitors.
