Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ Identified As New ‘Potential Challenger’ by 2017 Fosway 9-Grid™

Fosway Group, Europe’s #1 HR and learning analyst, has announced its 2017 9-Grid™  for Learning Systems, which features Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) for the first time.

The popular 9-Grid™ model showcases the market leaders and challengers to the HR industry across a range of service offerings. The Learning Systems 9-Grid™ is a new framing of the marketplace, bringing Next Generation Learning Environments (NGLEs) such as Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) into the same model as incumbent Learning Management Systems (LMSs).

Next Generation Learning Environments are marked out by their Software-as-a-Service approach (SaaS), mixed with a different value proposition, eschewing features like SCORM-led courses for data-led, performance orientated systems.

Learning Pool’ ecosystem – which features a range of products designed to make learning more personal, more social and more measurable – has been recognised as a Potential Challenger on the Learning Systems 9-Grid™.

On receiving the news of Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ inclusion, CEO, Ben Betts, commented:

Fosway has recognised that Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) is doing something visibly different for enterprise HR requirements. Our customers value our research-led approach and it’s clear our software is challenging the status-quo in learning technology. This research highlights that challengers like Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) are viable options for enterprise customers, encouraging them to broaden their horizons when reviewing what it means to own learning technology solutions”..

CEO of Fosway Group, David Wilson, said:

“All corporate buyers are interested in increasing learner engagement and improving the learning experience. Its’ encouraging to see the innovation that next generation learning environments like HT2 can now offer in the corporate market, which is why they have been named as a Potential Challenger.”

Betts continued:

“We’ve seen tremendous support from our early-adopting customers. They put their faith in a new approach to corporate learning and have been rewarded with first-mover advantages, both in terms of organisational outcomes and industry recognition. Our customers have won no less than 10 awards for their innovative approaches in the last 2 years. We look forward to building on our position over the coming 12 months and seeing more of our Next Generation cohort displacing the LMS market”.
