Alter Domus Invests in Data Protection Suite to Protect Growing Global Business

Learning Pool is thrilled to announce that Alter Domus, the fully integrated fund and corporate services provider has implemented our data protection suite for a three-year period in order to protect their business and remain compliant with the prevailing financial sector regulations.

Founded in 2003, Alter Domus is a fund and corporate services provider headquartered in Luxembourg and operating in several countries worldwide, including France, Singapore, and the United States. Its comprehensive range of services span fund and wealth administration, as well as corporate, agency and management company services.

The company approached Learning Pool with the challenge of launching a digital learning program for data protection across the business. To be accessed by Alter Domus’ 2,400 employees, located in 44 offices globally, its aim is to protect the business and remain compliant with the ever-changing financial sector regulations.

Alter Domus chose Learning Pool’s new data protection suite, comprising four new modules, following an update to our existing data protection elearning module, along with our flexible authoring tool, Adapt which will enable them to make quick and easy edits to the material, such as adding their own branding.

Following a comprehensive review of the Learning & Development technologies market, Learning Pool was chosen primarily for its custom content capabilities, which saw us tailoring a large amount of content to meet the specific requirements of the organization.

To date, the content has successfully been deployed via two existing Learning Management Systems (LMSs) within the timeframe required and employees have been accessing the content throughout the world on PCs, tablets, and mobiles.

Commenting on their recent experience with Learning Pool, Tendai Maphosa, Data and Protection Business Analyst said:

The elearning developed by Learning Pool for Alter Domus has been very well received. The quality of the work and service delivered has been nothing short of amazing. The data protection awareness training has successfully been deployed in our environment and we’re hoping to roll this out to US offices imminently.

CEO, Paul McElvaney said:

We’re delighted to welcome Alter Domus, who joins a growing list of other financial services organizations to have signed with Learning Pool in recent years. Our team works tirelessly to create engaging and relevant content for a vast range of sectors, and we’re proud to have created a learning experience for Alter Domus that is relevant for them and their employees, doing so in a time and cost-effective manner to help them meet the demands of the business.
