The World of Learning Conference and Exhibition returns to Birmingham’s NEC later this month, and with it the opportunity for L&D professionals to check out the latest learning technology and trends.

In addition to being able to access the free Exhibition, Conference attendees also have the opportunity to hear from a number of thought leaders and brands who are leading the way in the industry and delivering either a workshop or talk about their successes to inspire others looking to achieve similar results.

Ben Betts, CEO at Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) is among those delivering a session at the conference in which he’ll be delivering a case study on a recent project with global hotel company, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) – a project which has been shortlisted in the Best Use of Social and Collaborative Learning Technologies category at this years’ Learning Technologies Awards.

Attendees of the the session will learn how IHG:

  1. Built a social learning culture using innovative OLX design
  2. Engaged leaders to collaborate voluntarily and in real-time
  3. Measured critical thought and behavioural change using xAPI

The Session – (A5) Harnessing the Power of Social Learning – takes place on Day 1 of the Conference, from 14.15 – 15:05.
