April 24, 2016
At Learning Pools recent Learning Live conference Donald Clark, the e-learning guru, took centre stage with '7 fails in E-learning and 7 Solutions'.
At one of Learning Pool’s recent Learning Live events Donald Clark’s speech evoked such a passionate response, we’ve decided to share it again along with details on how to register to see the video of his talk.
The e-learning guru took centre stage in Cardiff and presented a refreshingly honest view of learning practices with, ‘7 fails in e-learning (7 solutions)’.

Delegates who attended Cardiff described Donald’s unorthodox talk as both inspiring and thought-provoking.
Find out below why media-rich isn’t always mind-rich, how video can be harmful to learning and why Donald feels any self-respecting L&D professional should ‘Kill Kirkpatrick’.
A bit about Donald…
Donald Clark was CEO (and one of the original founders) of Epic Group plc, which established itself as the leading company in the UK e-learning market.
Donald has been involved in the e-learning industry for more than 20 years, designing some of the first computer-based learning programmes in the early 1980s. He then went on to co-found Epic Group PLC in 1986. As former CEO, Donald’s experience ranges from programming to course development, commercial delivery and strategic management.
