Change the game in corporate learning

If you’ve ever wondered whether MOOCs might be the new approach to learning that really gets your audience wanting to learn, then this is the course for you.

In this course, you’ll to learn how to design and create an online course that really engages people through a gamified, social approach that uses a mix of curated and custom content. By the end of it, you should have a good idea of how to make your very own outstanding MOOC!

Levels 1 & 2: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly of MOOCs

We kick off this course by refreshing ourselves on what a MOOC is and how we can get the most out of them. We’ll then take a closer look at some of the component parts that we believe help to create a good MOOC, as well as consider where it’s all gone wrong!

By the end of these levels, you’ll be starting to consider what your MOOC subject may be and how you can prevent it being ‘The Bad’ or ‘The Ugly’!

Levels 3 & 4: Techniques to Create an Outstanding MOOC

We continue to look at good practice in MOOCs whilst hearing from a number of learning designers about their experiences of designing MOOCs in Curatr.

By the end of these levels, you’ll be starting to formulate your own ideas as to how you can create that all-important social aspect around your content.
