Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) Celebrate at the 2018 Learning Awards
February 5, 2018
Oxford, UK: Following on from a record 6-award haul at the Learning Technology Awards in November 2017, Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) have been named as finalists in 3 categories at the 2018 Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) annual Learning Awards.
With 15 awards and hundreds of entries from around the globe, the LPI Awards are dedicated to acknowledging outstanding examples of innovation, excellence and high standards in Learning and Development.
This year held a record number of submissions from individuals and organisations alike; each working to demonstrate how their solutions innovate and provide real business impact.
Hosted by TV’s Tess Daly, The Learning Awards presentations were held at London’s Dorchester Hotel on February 1st 2018; recognising outstanding examples of L&D solutions across the industry, including recent successes of both Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) clients and individuals.
AstraZeneca were acknowledged as a finalist for their work using Stream LXP (formerly Curatr), alongside Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ Product Manager Emma Sephton and Customer Success Manager Craig Taylor being declared finalists in the ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Learning Professional of the Year’ categories respectively.
Although no wins this year, the night provided an opportunity to celebrate the successes of others in the L&D industry alongside recognition for HT2 Lab’s achievements.
Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) and AstraZeneca celebrate their finalist status at the 2018 LPI Awards
Digital Learning Transformation – AstraZeneca
The AstraZeneca Global Leadership project has seen the company roll out a new Social Learning programme using Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ Stream LXP (formerly Curatr) platform that saw more than 157,000 contributions made via the social learning environment – by over 10,000 users – in the first 12 months alone.
The project saw the complete procurement process – from order to implementation and training complete – take less than 2 months, achieve massive (10x) cost savings, and excellent results, with 95% of participants on one of the programmes suggesting the new approach exceeded their expectations, and that AstraZeneca should pursue as a preferred means of training in the future.
Rising Star: Emma Sephton
Starting her time at Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) as a Project Manager, Emma swiftly progressed to become a Product Manager for Red Panda, the latest innovation in Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ Learning Ecosystem.
Emma has worked tirelessly with developers and pilot clients to envision and develop a state-of-the-art, scalable personal learning platform. With all growth targets met (in some cases exceeded), Emma’s status as a 2018 LPI Awards finalist comes as a timely reward.
Ben Betts, Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ CEO, was quick to offer his congratulations to Emma:
“That Emma has also been named a finalist is wonderful news, and a suitable reward to recognise the enormous personal and professional growth she has undergone over the last 12 months. Emma has worked incredibly hard to get Red Panda off the ground over and this is a fantastic achievement to mark its recent release.”
Learning Professional of the Year – Craig Taylor
As Customer Success Manager, Craig’s time is mainly spent ensuring customers reach their goals; pro-actively tracking, liaising and consulting with clients to maximise the benefits of using Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) learning software. With an eye for detail and a passion for success, Craig’s efforts receive frequent praise from those who work with him.
Upon hearing the news of Craig’s billing as a 2018 finalist, Ben had this to say:
“Craig has been instrumental in our clients’ success this year, and it’s great to see that the AstraZeneca project he’s worked so closely on has also been named as a finalist in the Digital Transformation category!”
If that wasn’t enough, Craig also acts as the main liaison between Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ product partners; running a number of monthly webinars highlighting the latest product updates, hints and tips along with best practice.
A Place of Firsts
CEO Ben Betts was enthusiastic when reflecting on Learning Pool’s (formerly HT2 Labs) overall presence at the 2018 LPI awards:
