Learning Technologies 2020

Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) & Friends to Share Key Insights in Series of Free Talks at LT

February 1-2 sees the return of Europe’s largest learning technologies exhibition and conference to London’s Olympia. Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) will be exhibiting and delivering a number of live demos across the 2 days, as well as being joined by friends from the industry to highlight how organisations can make learning more personal, more social and more measurable.

Throughout the show, Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)  will be showcasing their new learning ecosystem, which comprises an innovative new personal learning hub, Red Panda, with the company’s award-winning social learning platform, Stream LXP (formerly Curatr), and learning record store (LRS), Learning Locker.

Together, these tools enable organisations to adopt a campaign approach to learning, enabling learners and their organisations to plan, do, and measure both formal and informal learning activities within a single learning ecosystem.

Ben Betts, CEO of Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs), will take to the stand to explain more about the R&D-led style at Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) and what it means to be the R&D company for Learning & Performance technology.

“Our R&D approach to the learning technology market has shown us three key trends that research tells us really make a difference to learning and performance outcomes, where companies should focus their L&D investments. Making learning more personal, timely and relevant to the individual. Making learning more social, more peer-to-peer and crowd-driven. And making learning more measurable, both for the individual to show progress against their personal goals and the organisation to show the impact of their campaigns.”

Additionally, a number of industry experts have also been lined up to share their insights into these three key trends in learning.

These sessions are aimed at giving delegates food for thought on how they might adopt new practices in 2017 through the use of examples and insights into the work they are doing in their given area of expertise:

  • Stephen Walsh (AndersPink) – Making learning more personal by curating content learner’s love
  • Julian Stodd (Sea Salt Learning) – Making learning more social by exploring the Social Age
  • Aaron Silvers (Connections Forum / DISC) – Making learning more measurable by utilising xAPI data

I am delighted to welcome to our own stage some of our industry’s leading lights when it comes to making learning more personal, more social and more measurable” commented Ben. “Stephen, Julian and Aaron are all more used to making appearances up in the conference area, so to get them down into the exhibition hall talking about the areas they see really impacting learning tech strategy is a huge boost for those attending the free expo.”

The free talks will take place in Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ exhibition area (Stand N14) on both days of the show. Each session will last around 15 minutes long, with the first session starting at 10am, and the last at 3pm.

Stand N14 is located between the two main exhibition halls.
