Learning Pool recruits Chief Commercial Officer from Experian

Learning Pool, has pulled off a major coup by appointing Duncan Shores, former Director of Operations at Experian, to lead its Commercial team.

Duncan has a wealth of related experience and was until recently responsible for all operational functions supporting the UK&I Go To Market B2B sales and pre-sales consulting teams at Experian.

Paul McElvaney, Learning Pool co-founder and CEO, said Duncan’s expertise will help the company achieve its ambitious growth targets. “The fact that someone with his knowledge and experience has committed to Learning Pool is a real boost for the company and an endorsement of what we’re trying to achieve.”

He continued, “I’m confident Duncan will be a great asset and I’ve no doubt that he will guide the team to deliver excellence to our customers; especially as we roll out our roadmap of AI technology for learning in the months ahead.”

Learning Pool believes better informed people power the most effective businesses and provides online learning services, working in partnership with clients to help transform internal training.

“Learning Pool is a fantastic business,” said Duncan. “And I jumped at the chance to help Paul and the team accelerate their already strong growth.
