Learning Pool Scoop Silver for ‘Best Advance in Emerging Tech’ at the 2019 Brandon Hall Awards
December 6, 2019
Learning Pool is delighted to have achieved Silver in the ‘Best Advance in Emerging Tech’ category at the Brandon Hall Awards 2019 for their ‘Learnbot’ project with partners, the multinational travel and tourism company, TUI.
The Brandon Hall Excellence Awards feature two annual programs – a Spring program and an Autumn program. Both recognize the best organizations worldwide that have successfully deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems and tools that have achieved measurable results.
The winners of the autumn awards were announced during a live webinar on Thursday 5th December 2019.
Among the many benefits of participating in the awards is an annual three and a half-day event that features winners of the coveted Excellence Awards as presenters where they meet with attendees to share challenges and success stories. Award winners are also celebrated with a ceremony, banquet and reception.
TUI’s award-winning Learnbot enables leaders at TUI to quickly and intuitively address their skills gaps at the point of need by simply asking Learning Pool’s chatbot questions. This is then complete with further recommended learning offered alongside the answer to their initial question.
Learning of the second award-win for the Learnbot in a two-week period, Learning Pool’s Technical Product Manager, Callum Gilbanks commented:
I’m extremely proud of the hard work and dedication from both the TUI and Learning Pool teams on turning an innovative idea into an exciting reality – and a second award win in two weeks is fantastic recognition of that. Our drive to push ourselves and our products forward haven’t stopped and the team have already started working away on the next iteration of the Learnbot.
Learning Pool’s project with TUI also won Gold for ‘Most Innovative New Product’ at the Learning Technologies Awards 2019 in November.
