Our Marketing team wins Prestigious International Award
We’re very proud at Learning Pool to have been named as having the Best Marketing Team in the 2020 International Brilliance Awards, triumphing in a tough category, over an impressive global shortlist.
The award was open to companies all over the globe, and our Marketing team was awarded the highest possible award in its category – Overall Brilliance Winner for Best Marketing/PR Team.
Learning Pool’s Head of Marketing, Rob Carter commented:
“I am so proud of the entire team. It is particularly commendable as since March this year, Learning Pool has adopted remote working as a company, so the entire Marketing team is dispersed throughout the UK. We have had to step up to keep the momentum and think hard about how we work, so getting this validation is a testament to the team’s ambition, talent, and passion.”
The Business Brilliance Awards celebrate global achievements across various industries and sectors, placing a selection of the best companies and teams under the spotlight in a rigorous and competitive judging process.
The team’s nomination had the highest score in its category and was designated the Brilliance Award winner. Event sponsors include prestigious organizations such as LinkedIn, Yammer and Oracle.
The judges commented on the decision to award Learning Pool’s team the top award:
“The 2020 Award has attracted nominations from organizations of all types, from different parts of the world. Many of the world’s largest and most famous companies have won BOC Brilliance Awards. This was a great effort in challenging times with fantastic results. Adding an acquisition into the fold and being closer and more collaborative than ever is a real feat in socially distanced times.”
In the last two years, Learning Pool’s Marketing team has been revolutionized and has taken a proactive approach to its team development, with regular training, ongoing support and it also encourages feedback across all aspects of the business.
The team was awarded the accolade at a virtual event on 4 December 2020.
This success is the latest in a string of accolades for the company. The group was recently awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise (Innovation), a (US-based) Stevie’s 2020 Gold Award for Customer Service, a Brandon Hall Silver Award for Excellence in Learning, and a CSR World Leader Award.
