Tall Tales Short Stories Winners Announcement

LOOK HOOOO’S WON!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE TALL TALES SHORT STORIES WRITING COMPETITION!

Learning Pool is delighted to announce the winners of our Tall Tales Short Stories writing competition.

On a quest to find the world’s most magnificent mythical creatures, we were ‘owl’ ears to listen to your stories. And we weren’t disappointed! Our team was blown away by the quality of entries sent in to us and we had a hoot reading your stories.

After careful consideration by our judging panel, we now have our winners and four runners up in each age category. They will each receive a cash prize and have their story illustrated by one of our talented designers and published in our Tall Tales Short Stories book, available to buy later this year. 100% of royalties (estimated at 13 to 20% of the sale price) will be donated to Make-A-Wish International.

Congratulations to:

1st place (7-9 year olds)
Susanna Thackray

Runners Up (7-9 year olds)

Leila Colli

1st place (10-12 year olds)

A massive thank you to everyone (there were lots of you!) who entered this competition. Keep writing owl-ways!
