Decade of success in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for Learning Pool

Learning Pool today announced that it has ranked for the tenth consecutive year in the Deloitte Fast 50, a list of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Ireland. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over four years.

Learning Pool’s Group CEO and Founder, Paul McElvaney

Learning Pool is the only company on this year’s list to have made it ten times, and historically, only ten companies have managed to achieve a decade of success in the 21 years this program has run in Ireland. The company ranked 41 on the 2020 list.

Learning Pool’s Group CEO, Paul McElvaney attributes the company’s continued growth and success to their unwavering commitment to customer loyalty, strategic acquisitions, and its award-winning team:

Following the acquisition of HT2 Labs, we successfully demonstrated the continuing value of online learning for clients through the uncertainty of the pandemic. This ranking is a great endorsement for our people, who work hard to create and deliver inspiring solutions for our clients, engaging over 3.5 million learners worldwide.

The Fast 50 is a ranking of the country’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies based on revenue growth over the last four years. The Award is one of Ireland’s foremost technology award programs. Past winners have included some of the most dynamic players in tech, biotech, and digital media technology.

This is Learning Pool’s twelfth appearance on a Deloitte listing, having been named in the Rising Star category in both 2009 and 2010.

Cumulatively, the 2020 Fast 50 winners generated approximately €3.3 billion in total annual revenues. The average revenue of companies featured in the ranking was approximately €90 million, while the average growth rate of the companies over the last four years was over 400%.

Announcing the winners, Peter Allen, Partner, Deloitte (NI) Ltd said:

Congratulations to our 2020 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 companies. These awards are a celebration of entrepreneurial tech businesses.  The pandemic has presented huge challenges to the way we work and live, and technology has responded to provide innovative solutions.  Although the economy has come under severe pressure, this crisis has presented unprecedented opportunities for NI tech businesses to shine.
