Award 1: Best Learning Project – Platform

We’re looking for an organisation that can demonstrate that they have used the learning platform to make a significant contribution to the delivery of learning within their organisation.

The project will have a clear vision and have added real value to both their learners and the business.

We’ll be looking for evidence that:

  • Your project has made an impact in terms of individual and organisational performance.
  • You have made appropriate, and innovative, use of new technology from your Learning Pool service.
  • There is evidence of a successful implementation strategy including; alignment with organizational goals; engagement with key stakeholders; marketing; support and evaluation.
  • Steps were taken to engage learners with the subject.

Award 2:  Best Learning Project – Content

We’re looking for an organisation that can demonstrate that they have used learning content (off-the-shelf or custom content) to make a significant contribution to the delivery of learning in their organisation. This award will recognise excellence in terms of content and organisational needs. In particular, judges will be looking for learning outcomes in a project that has used content to deliver impactful and memorable learning.

We’ll be looking for evidence that:

  • The need for a new digital programme was effectively identified, defined and agreed upon with leaders and stakeholders, with clear learning outcomes.
  • There was a successful implementation strategy, including alignment with organisational goals.
  • Learners have been supported effectively throughout the project.
  • The project has made an impact in terms of both individual and organisational performance.

Award 3:  Best Learning Project – Data & Analytics

We’re looking for an organisation that can demonstrate that they have used data & analytics to provide valuable insights into the impact of their learning programmes on both learner and business performance.  The judges will want to see analytics that go beyond the traditional learning completion data and will be looking for programmes that have delivered measurable results.

We’ll be looking for evidence that:

  • The learning data analytics project was conducted using meaningful data, such as that derived from a learning experience; campaign or programme and/or performance; and impact data captured elsewhere.
  • The learning data analytics project produced actionable insights that helped inform key business decisions.
  • Decisions and actions taken as a result of the analytics project had a positive impact on individual and/or business performance.

Judges’ Awards

We’ll also have a number of judges’ awards that we’ll announce during Learning Pool Live in October.

They will be chosen from the award categories and will recognise exceptional individual or team performance.

If you feel that a particular member of your team, or the team in general, stands out for their contribution, make sure you name them and include their contribution within your entry.

The judges will then decide to present awards based on a team or individual’s input into the overall outcome and results.

How do I submit my entry?

Submissions should be roughly 1,000 words and we’ll announce the nominees on week commencing 28th August 2023.

All submissions should also include a one minute (max) video that summarises your entry and focuses on what you’ve achieved.

Please send your Learning Pool Awards submissions directly to [email protected] before Monday 31 July 2023 to be in with a chance of winning. If you need help with your submission, join us for a drop-in session.
