Learning Pool helps Mansfield District Council welcome back colleagues with bespoke elearning module

The Derry-based full-service elearning solutions provider, Learning Pool is thrilled to announce the recent commission of a 15-minute of content aimed at welcoming back colleagues at Mansfield District Council.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of staff at Mansfield District Council commenced working from home in early March 2020. Following government advice to return to office working should it be safe to do so, the council approached Learning Pool with the need for a solution to help support staff returning to the office.

With over 300 colleagues returning to the council’s head office, the challenge was to find a solution to quickly update staff on the new processes and protocols which have been designed and put in place to keep them safe.

Mansfield District Council commissioned a bespoke elearning module to be housed by the Learning Together learning management system, a platform the council shares with both Ashfield District Council and Bassetlaw Council.

With an immediate project kick-off, the module was put together using government guidance and was delivered to Mansfield District Council in less than three weeks. The content includes a message from the council’s Chief Executive, Hayley Barsby, the new health and safety and hygiene measures that have been put in place, as well as the correct protocol to follow when using lifts/stairs in the office to support social distancing guidelines at work.
