New Flex Block: Speech Bubble

We introduced a new Speech Bubble block which offers users a way to display content in a conversational style, creating a more interactive and engaging user experience.

New Flex Block: Checkbox and Radio Buttons

We introduced a new block type that lets users add checkboxes or radio buttons to their Flex Slides, offering a fresh and engaging way to present course content.

Flex Slide Branching Tool

We introduced a new Branching Tool that allows users to configure Blocks or Sections to appear for specific learners according to the parameters the user defines, creating a more personalized learning experience for learners.

Stock Photo Library

Users can choose assets from free stock photo sites directly within the asset manager in the Flex Slide, in addition to selecting assets from the current course.

Flex Slide Nested Sections

Users can add subsections within a section and include blocks to gain greater control over the structure of the main section, resulting in a more engaging learning experience.

Upgrade to Flex Support for Legacy Slides

We’re adding support for the following legacy slides so they can be upgraded to Flex.

Flex: Carousel Cycle Control

We introduced a new control setting that grants users the ability to tailor the carousel block behavior according to their preferences. With this setting, users can choose to either halt the carousel from cycling after displaying the last card or opt for continuous looping through the cards.

Copy and Paste Between Flex Slides

Users can copy any Section, Block or Layered Images from a Flex slide and paste it to a different Flex slide within the same course or into a different course.

New Flex Block: Accordion

The new Accordion block offers users a way to display content in expandable sections, creating a more interactive and engaging user experience.

Update “Upgrade to Flex” behavior

We updated the current upgrade behavior so that you can revert your upgraded Flex slide to the original legacy version at any time.

Section and Block Level Animations

We introduced animation options that can be applied to Sections and Blocks to create more dynamic Flex slides.

Flex Upgrade Tool

The Flex Upgrade Tool allows users to easily convert all eligible legacy slides to Flex with just a click, streamlining the bulk update process. This enables users to take full advantage of the latest Adaptive features available in Flex Slides.
