Leading elearning company, Learning Pool, has agreed on a new contract for pre-built elearning modules and new bespoke learning content with Brewin Dolphin, one of the UK’s leading wealth managers.
Founded in 1762, Brewin Dolphin helps customers to achieve their financial ambitions through expert, personalized financial planning and investment management advice. In October 2018, the company’s Learning & Development team identified the need for an updated online learning activity on whistleblowing; a key pillar within the organization’s regulatory compliance framework.
By choosing Learning Pool’s pre-built course on this topic, and editing the terminology and branding using Adapt Builder, the L&D team were able to quickly onboard and distribute this piece of vital learning to their 1,700 employees without incurring unnecessary research and development costs.
The Brewin Dolphin team has since reviewed additional courses across Learning Pool’s Foundation Skills, Financial Services and Compliance catalogues and identified several which will help support our compliance L&D program in place across the company. In addition, Learning Pool has now worked closely with Brewin Dolphin to create customized courses for deployment across the business.
Duncan Howard, Learning & Development Digital Strategy Manager at Brewin Dolphin
“We consider our learning and development to be the best in class and a competitive differentiator. We’re proud of all the L&D opportunities we offer our people and are always looking for new and effective ways to support their career with us whilst recognizing our complementary obligations as a regulated business. Using pre-built online learning titles from Learning Pool means we can devote more of our internal L&D resources to developing our wider learning strategy including courses, pathways and programs which are unique to Brewin Dolphin.”
Learning Pool’s CEO, Paul McElvaney
“We’re very pleased to announce this expansion of our relationship with Brewin Dolphin. We have over five hundred individual titles across our elearning catalogues and are constantly updating and adding to these for our subscribers. Having invested in the Adapt Builder to help our customers make the best use of the Adapt developer framework, we have unparalleled skills in working with this technology. This means our creative team of expert Learning Designers can also work quickly to shape new, unique and engaging content at our clients’ request.”
