insurethebox invests in a new learning solution from Learning Pool

We’re pleased to announce that Insure The Box Limited, the telematics-based motor insurance pioneer, has signed an initial two-year agreement for thirteen pre-built learning modules, delivered to staff via our award-winning SaaS learning management system (LMS).

Founded in 2010, Insure The Box Limited changed the motor insurance market by offering discounts to drivers who use a small telematics device fitted to their vehicle to prove that they drive safely. In 2017, insurethebox launched the GEAR (Grow, Excel, Accelerate, Race) career development framework which successfully delivered more than 2,600 hours of learning to staff in its first nine months.

To further support colleague development and ensure it continues to comply with UK regulation, insurethebox has now acquired a range of Learning Pool’s device-responsive catalogue modules addressing topics such as Cybersecurity, GDPR, Treating Customers Fairly, Conduct Risk and Unconscious Bias. In addition, a license for Learning Pool’s SaaS-based LMS will increase efficiency through a role-based allocation of courses and centralized reporting for managers and auditors.

“We take learning and development very seriously,” says Andy Preacher, Group Head of People and Culture UK. “Which is why we invested in the future of our people through the GEAR programme. The industry-standard training modules from Learning Pool can be quickly adjusted for our brand and language using the Adapt Builder authoring tool and distributed via the online platform. It’s one of the ways we are accelerating our performance as we realise our ambition to lead the way in connected mobility protection.”

“We’re delighted to welcome Insurethebox as a Learning Pool customer,” says Learning Pool’s CEO, Paul McElvaney. “Our design experts collaborate with subject matter specialists to create and maintain catalogue content that’s always relevant to the modern learner. And our ability to seamlessly provide this content to end users via our class-leading LMS means there’s nobody better placed to help Andy and the insurethebox team to maintain a highly compliant and customer-focused business.”
