Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) Achieve Triple Win at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards

Florida, USA: Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) are in celebration after achieving a triple win at the Excellence in Technology Awards 2018 hosted by the Brandon Hall Group, including Gold for Best in Social Learning.

The Excellence Awards 2018 hosted by the Brandon Hall Group celebrates the very best among Learning & Development, Talent Management, Leadership, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Management, Sales Performance and Technology.

With hundreds of applications across a number of categories, organizations globally were judged the best of the best for developing and deploying programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems and tools that have achieved measurable and impactful business results.

During a virtual presentation, the winners of each category were announced, with Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) achieving an astounding three wins for three individual entries.

To begin, the Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) team were awarded Silver in the Emerging Learning Technologies category for their development of the Social Intelligence Dashboard (SID). With the aid of Machine Learning, SID enables Learning Pool Platform to report deeply on text-based social interactions, helping stakeholders to identify interactions with both content and people that seem to result in deeper levels of engagement within the platform.

The next, another Silver win, was awarded to Learning Pool Learning Record Store, the Learning Record Store, in the Best Advance in Learning Management Measurement/Business Tools category. Learning Locker® is the world’s most widely installed Learning Record Store.

And finally, rounding off the awards ceremony, Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs) picked up the Gold Award for Best in Social Learning; achieving yet another accolade for Stream LXP (formerly Curatr), the Learning Experience Platform.https://learningpool.com/lxp/

https://learningpool.com/lxp/CEO Ben Betts was delighted with the results, commenting that it was:

Another outstanding night at the industry awards ceremony for Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs). Building on our success last year of a record 6 wins at the Learning Technology Awards in London, our team has achieved a wonderful triple at our industries pre-eminent North American awards by Brandon Hall.

The level of sustained innovation that our team has been capable of delivering is quite astonishing. The Social Intelligence Dashboard (SID), for example, is a very practical example of how machine learning can be applied to the problems we are tackling in learning and talent development. SID comes as a wave of text and speech-based interaction is hitting the industry, through social learning, chatbots and smart speaker technology. The ability to analyze and understand what is being said through these various channels, at scale, will be fundamental to the learning department understanding impact in the coming years.

Anna Lloyd, VP of Product Management at Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs), saw the awards as real recognition of Learning Pool (formerly HT2 Labs)’ flagship products becoming ‘mainstream’ for the industry.

The rate of adoption and recognition we’ve had for Learning Locker® has been astounding, and with Stream LXP (formerly Curatr), it feels like the mainstream has now adopted the belief we’ve always had – that socially-driven, experience-first learning should be the norm. The trend for LXPs in general reflects the raised expectations of both L&D professionals and employees: that learning should always be a positive and engaging experience, never just a ‘delivery’. With both Stream LXP (formerly Curatr) and  Learning Locker® winning a raft of awards in the past year, we’re looking forward to a record year in 2019.

The Brandon Hall Group will host a Gala evening at the Hilton Hotel in Florida, USA in January 2019 for all winners of the Excellence Awards to collect their token plaques.
