This module looks at what we mean by the term ‘financial promotion’, as well as the key issues associated with the subject. We also explore the legal and regulatory requirements involved. This module will take your learners through the different forms of financial promotion, from press releases and AGM statements to social media communications and demonstrate the key requirements of being clear, fair and not misleading when promoting financial services. By the end of the module, they will understand why the regulations and the different rules are necessary, (including the FCA’s Principles for Businesses).
