Display Screen Equipment (DSE) for Managers
Included in Health and Safety Level 2 Collection
What it is:
DSE for Managers explores best practice for safe and proper use of Display Screen Equipment (DSE). While we adhere to, we don’t reference specific legislations as we’ve taken into account laws and regulations from outside of the UK. This was done to ensure a global audience could get meaningful learning from this course.
Around 30 minutes in duration, learners will tackle the below learning objectives:
- Recognise the many forms of ‘Display Screen Equipment’
- Understand the harm that can be caused by improper use of DSE
- Identify ‘users’ of DSE
- Be aware of the manager’s role in conducting DSE assessments and providing information and training
- Appreciate the need for breaks and/or changes of activity
- Know how to manage issues with DSE used by home workers

Post Pandemic Living and Working
Included in Self Care Collection
What it is:
On 11th March 2020, the World Health Organisation officially declared COVID-19 a pandemic. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and for those countries that have benefitted from several rounds of vaccination, a hope that the worst of the pandemic is over. This doesn’t mean that COVID-19 is going away any time soon, instead we have to learn to live with it at home and at work. This course takes a holistic approach to exploring what ‘the next normal’ may look like and what it means for everyone no matter their personal circumstances.
